ICKL is a multifaceted organization guided by a dual mission: to engage in local consultation efforts and foster solidarity on a global scale. At its core, ICKL endeavors to deepen understanding of the circumstances and perspectives of the Haitian populace, facilitating international comprehension through various means. This includes supporting observation and study missions aimed at advocating for grassroots initiatives and amplifying the voices of the majority.
As a non-religious, non-profit, and independent private foundation, ICKL operates without political alignment, emphasizing inclusivity and cooperation across diverse ideologies. Central to its mandate is the promotion of knowledge exchange, drawing parallels between struggles and movements in Haiti and those across Latin America and beyond. Through this collaborative approach, ICKL endeavors to cultivate a network of solidarity that transcends borders, championing shared experiences and advocating for the advancement of common causes worldwide.
